Who we are

After two decades of working for “Big Four” accounting firms, I started my own consulting business. I have deep technical knowledge and experience in a broad range of state and local tax issues within the private credit industry.

During my 20-year professional career, I have advised numerous banking and private lenders on fund tax structuring, planning, and ongoing compliance issues. I have led state and local tax compliance projects for credit funds of different sizes, while managing risk and generating tax planning ideas. I have successfully represented credit fund managers and investors before the state and local tax authorities, filed protests on their behalf, and assisted them with state and local tax notices and audit resolution.

The clients that I have served include foreign sovereign funds, pension funds, insurance companies, tax exempt and institutional investors, and credit fund managers. My experience spans direct lending, secondary market loans, liquid credit, and different lending products including middle-market unsecured debt, asset-based lending, infrastructure loans, mezzanine debt, and CLOs, among others.

I hold an MBA Degree in Finance & Investments and an MS Degree in Accounting & Taxation from Baruch College, City University of New York, which I completed with highest honors. I am a licensed CPA in the states of New York, Connecticut, and Florida.
